CAD Technician with 5 years experience in the oil and gas field

Full time CAD technician with 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry needed for a relaxed, friendly survey firm.

Successful candidates will be responsible for managing plan production for several projects at one time, including drafting and design. Candidates will be required to work with time constraints to meet multiple deadlines independently or in a group to achieve project deliverables.
We are seeking an adaptable Co-worker with a strong desire to grow personally, professionally and help the company to grow.

Job Qualifications:
>Must have a degree or vocational certification in CAD Drafting and Design (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience in the oil and gas industry.
>Must have advanced capabilities using AutoCAD w/emphasis in Carlson Survey (2018).
>Survey drafting experience a must.  Experience in the field as a Instrument Man or Party Chief a plus.
>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
>Autonomy to produce drawings under guidance of the project manager. Must be very organized and able to draft and coordinate several design projects concurrently.

• • Skills/Abilities:
    >Terminology, methods, practices, techniques and nomenclature of survey and civil drafting.
    >Text/ASCII files experience.
    >Ability to create:
    Existing ground surfaces;
    proposed surfaces;
    volume surfaces;
    cross sections;
    and plan and profiles.

>Alignment Sheets
>Well Location Certificates
>Site Sketches
>Existing topography exhibits
>Right of way Exhibits
>Legal descriptions
>Land survey and subdivision plats
>Plan and Profile Exhibits
>any other type of surveying and engineering drafting that may be requested by our clients.
