Lawrence Sinco has more than 16 years of experience in land surveying. He is experienced in 3D laser scanning (3DLS), pipeline, and facility management throughout the country. He is also knowledgeable in field techniques, field survey equipment, office coordination, and processing.  He is licensed in Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Suncor – Commerce City, Colorado
3DLS Lead responsible for direct supervision of planning, overseeing, managing, operating, and finalization of all survey related tasks pertaining to this project. Successfully completed a number of 3DLS projects within the refinery including but not limited to pipelines, piping/electrical design, mapping, facility upgrades, and civil/structural layout. Included within the workflow of the 3DLS projects were the key processes of data capture in the field, data processing in the office, and product delivery. As Project Surveyor, performed 3DLS on a large portion of the refinery for a tank farm containment study including all piping, mechanical, structural, and civil components. Performed field data collection using a laser scanner and robotic total station. Responsible for data processing of all survey control and conventional survey data using Trimble software. Modeled all piping, mechanical, structural, and civil data using Cyclone. Delivered a point cloud and civil 3D drawings showing all modeled entities.

Suncor – Commerce City, Colorado
Project Surveyor responsible for direct supervision of planning, overseeing, managing, operating, and finalization of all survey related tasks pertaining to this crude pipeline project. Pipeline included preliminary field surveys necessary to determine routing, boundary surveys to determine area of ownership, topography surveys for facilities, submission of certified plats for properties in which the pipeline crossed, construction staking & as-built survey, and project required deliverables. This particular project is one in which numerous city, county, and municipality entities were involved which required us to coordinate properly and manage our time correctly to meet specific deadlines and deliverables as set forth by these entities. Successfully managed 10+ field crew members and office personnel to meet both project deadlines and deliverable schedules in a timely manner.

Kinder Morgan – Collins, Mississippi
As Project Surveyor, performed 3DLS on a large portion of a terminal facility for the receiving of a new pipeline. Performed field data collection using a laser scanner and robotic total station. Responsible for data processing of all survey control and conventional survey data using Trimble software. Modeled all piping, mechanical, structural, and civil data using Cyclone. Delivered civil 3D drawings showing all modeled entities.

Kinder Morgan – Tucson, Arizona
Project Surveyor responsible for direct supervision of planning, overseeing, managing, operating, and finalization of all survey related tasks pertaining to this natural gas pipeline project. Pipeline included preliminary field surveys necessary to determine routing, boundary surveys to determine area of ownership, topography surveys for facilities, and submission of certified plats for properties in which the pipeline crossed. Successfully managed 25+ field crew members and office personnel to meet both project deadlines and deliverable schedules in a timely manner.

Saddle Butte Pipeline, LLC – North Dakota
Project Surveyor responsible for direct supervision of planning, overseeing, managing, operating, and finalization of all survey related tasks pertaining to this crude pipeline project. Pipeline included preliminary field surveys necessary to determine routing, boundary surveys to determine area of ownership, topography surveys for facilities, and submission of certified plats for properties in which the pipeline crossed. This particular project involved creating certified plats on Indian Allotment lands in which requirements for survey are much different than normal and made necessary various coordination efforts to properly meet the project guidelines and Bureau of Indian Affairs standards. Successfully managed 10+ field crew members and office personnel to meet both project deadlines and deliverable schedules in a timely manner.

Sewerage and Water Board – New Orleans, Louisiana
As Project Surveyor, performed 3DLS on a large portion of the boiler house facility including all piping, mechanical, structural, and civil components. Performed field data collection using a laser scanner and robotic total station. Responsible for data processing of all survey control and conventional survey data using Trimble software. Modeled piping, mechanical, structural, and civil data using Cyclone. The main deliverable was a point cloud and civil 3D drawings showing all modeled entities.

Folgers – New Orleans, Louisiana
